I am a professional freelance comic book letterer and currently own Digital-CAPS, my online home for comic book lettering and logo design. I was born in Dallas, Texas and have 2 kids.
Some of my most notable projects to date include working for my comic writing hero, Ron Fortier, on his upcoming graphic novel, Captain Hazzard and the Python Men of the Lost City. Ron’s an awesome dude to work for. I first read his work in 1992’s “Twilight Zone” series from NOW Comics and I never forgot his writing. I’ve also worked for Dynamic Forces relettering RED SONJA #1-7 from the 1970’s for the RED SONJA Vol. 1 Archival Edition and Luke Lieberman’s STREET MAGIK, in which my name appears next to Stan Lee’s in BOTH BOOKS, a major accomplishment in any universe! I also lettered the 7-part CANDYAPPLEBLACK mini series for the Good Intentions Paving Co. Wrapping up soon will be DUSK, a supernatural thriller slated for release sometime this year by Ambrosia Publishing and writer David Doub. The story centers around Eve, a woman trying to escape her past by wallowing in the unseemly underbelly of vampire society. And finally, I just signed to letter a six issue sci-fi mini series entitled “Epoch” for Arcana Comics. The project involves Kris Carter and Ron Fortier, among others. I just lettered a Graphic Novel called “Yin Yang” by Bobby Nash that is soon to be released by Arcana, also… I’m very excited about these opportunities!
